Brogues- New Look
i love scarfs and have so many and this is one of my fave ones and very summery. The colours are so nice and used the scarf to block colour with the skirt which i bought last year and barely worn. The back of my top is so pritty and had to buy it as soon as i saw it! It can be zipped up so it looks like its just a zip and then zipped down to reveal the netting behind- had to wear my hair up to show it off.
This weeks been craaaazzy i love it! Got a nephew (Magnus Charles Logan) and he is CUTE, flat in Aberdeen finalised, broke my toe, set fringe alight, September magazine month, job transfer, all you can eat buffets and im turning 19 tomorrow! (Given up calling it the 1st anniversary of being 18)

(via coocoofashionworm)

took a few listens for it to grow but now i love it!!

Really wish i could read German so i could read German Vogue (where the picture comes from) and French and Italian.. although this whole debate about the 11 year old girl modelling for French Vogue and made out to look older is a bit off putting but suppose when younger every girl dresses up in her mums make up and tries on her clothes and heels- it just doesnt happen to be Louis Vuitton or Dior.. sadly.. But yeh so this month is the best month ever cause i spend £32 on buying the September issue of Vogue, Elle, Bazaar, Tatler, Instyle, Marie Claire and 2 large bars of Galaxy chocolate in WHSmith and not feel even a little guilty cause tbh its part of my uni reading list. Tough times!
Was planning a cheeky wee shopping trip to the West End tomorrow but apparently riots have kicked off there now. Seriously London was bad enough but now Glasgow? Always liked Strathclyde police (when im sober) so really hope they get a handle of it. Also Glasgow neds have fluff as brains so cant really see this going any further. Also Brad Pitt is coming here next week and it would be lovely for his trip not to be cancelled.. but risking it anyway and heading in to my fave part of town for some new clothes :)! Hope yous in London are ok and stay safe!

Sweater- £15 vintage

Leggings- £6 H&M

Heeled boots- £15 Pure

Bought this sweater from a store in St Andrews for only £15 a few years back and have only worn it once mainly cause it smells of grannies so had it dry cleaned the other week and since its a comfy, casual outfit i wore it for the 3 hour drive down to England last week. Usually i hate leggings cause they are never the right size these are a small and feel like a medium (even though right now i feel pritty smug i may be an xs in leggings but also ignoring the fact that 3/5 girls have the same problem and solution.) Again doing my work a favour but there leggings are amaaaazing and fit perfectly! (Also they’re Autumn/Winter collection is so cool and very London boy with different colours of jeans, polo neck tops, plims, tassled boots, shirts the lot. Also London girl with flirty playsuits and the most beautiful headbands and heels and floor length dresses ive seen in a while.

In other news i went swimming today after a year of not using a swimsuit after spending £40 on a black, backless swimsuit with a gold zip at the front from H&M and a holterneck, coral swimsuit from Bravissamo last year for my 6th year holiday and the conclusion? The most uncomfortable swimsuits for going swimming in if your taking it seriously. How does Daniel Craig look so hot swimming in James Bond when i resemble a moron who doesnt want to get their hair wet?

http://www.ilovecutiepie.com/ give it a swatch- such a good jewelery site!

Anyone else lovin the new Compare the Market advert or have a car they can compare so i can get a free meerakat?

Cloggs- £25 River Island
Wedges- £15 (i know!) Garage Shoes
These shoes made my week! Wedges were a bargain that i got on my way to work and made me 10 minutes late but they’re worth it. And the cloggs i talked about before but managed to exchange them for only 1 size too big rather than 2. Only problem is both shoes are pure sore to walk in esp the wedges so have to wear plasters when wearing them but hey suffer for shoes. My 3 best friends were on my back the other night when i wore the wedges to a party and kept on asking where i got them for £15 and it got to the stage where they refused to let me wear them. So this is for them- Garage Shoes, East Kilbride shopping centre- you ruined the outfit.
Anyone watch the Modelling Agency? They were at Central Station Friday passed (11th) and saw the 2 guys being crowded around by some very orange girls and girls who passed them about 20 times with their boobs out (not literally) for the 5 minutes i was in the station, hilarious to watch.
I wore a new ring today that i bought from Accessorize and its gold with a big rose in my new favourite colour Morello Cherry, but they only had an XL so today at work it was flying everywhere and hit one customer in the belly which was kind of awkward. One friend soon offered me celotape to keep it on sadly he thinks black tape on a gold ring looks good.
Not long till the weekend guys :)!

Earrings- £5.99 H&M
Clutch bag- £18 Accessorize
Belt- £6 New Look
Shoes- £25 New Look
Scarf- present from Dad from a shop in Finland
My cousin looked beautiful on her wedding day in a strapless, white, beaded dress with a vail down to her waist and is now on her honeymoon and wish her all the best!! So good to catch up with all the family and have a big bruise from ceilegh dancing on my inner arms and hoping the colour will downsize sometime soon.
My dress was made by my mum and was 3 sizes to big (what happens when someone makes you a dress as a surprise and doesnt measure you) it was hard not to resemble a traffic cone and this photo was the non-shinest one where you can see the whole outfit. But i wore it as its not that bad and the colour is so nice and the belt saved the oversized look- and i downed the free wine. Bless my mum for doing it though! Although theres no blessing Piz Buin fake tan which had me scrubbing like a looney on coke an hour before leaving the house to remove the orangeness although thanks to my ‘clever’ thinking the mix of gradual and instant meant i got oranger throughout the day.
Planning a mahassive pub golf birthday for 2 friends and myself and hating it mainly cause you know youve missed out like 20 folk but dont know who cause all names look the same after going through lists and lists of facebook names. So if your reading this and not invited (you must either know Rhona, Jack or me) then meet at Driftwood- Glasgow, 4th August, 5.30 in golf gear.

love Calvin Harris!

Beige, Morello Cherry and Orange

Got my disount today at work and got an eye on an oversized beige padlock bag, couple of play suits, beige chinos and some chunky knits. Beige is one of my favourite colours for clothing so its always my 1st choice of colours in trousers or cardi’s and i always ignore people (Katy- one of my best friends) who says its boring. I also bought a new pair of heels today- black studded, fur cloggs. They sound beast but their so pritty and practical for winter weather (the fur part) well that was the excuse to buy them and also cause they were only £25 on sale. Although they are 2 sizes too big so i need to put tissues at the bottom. Im also on the hunt for a morello cherry knit or pair of jeans- the colour is gorgeous and was everywhere in Paris and New York for winter 2011/12. So new-a-porter and the West End is getting raided.

Ive got my beautiful cousins wedding on Thursday and my mums decided she’ll make my dress for me. I havent seen it yet which is kind of dodgy considering when i was 4 she made my dress for my Aunts wedding which matched her outfit and we looked like pink matching twats. But im hoping its ok and from what shes told me- its orange.

Was up at Glenshee for the weekend to see some friends and it was a friends anniversary so was really good to see folk again. Ive finished work for 2 days which means catching up with sleep and New Looks Style the Nation and im sadly excited!

Top- £25 Topshop
Skirt- £15 Zara
Sunglasses- £8 H&M
Bracelets- £8 and £5 mixed from New Look and Miss Selfrige
So now im getting desperate and choosing photos where the outfit isnt completely shown.. this was one friends birthday parties and was on a Balmain inspired streak so when i saw the top i fell in love with the studded shoulders and the nutral colour. I wore a pair of brown gladiator heels (New Look £25)- which for once stayed on the whole night. The weird boy in the background is one of my best friends and claims he’s into fashion although he bought a pair of Jedward red shoes (the exact pair they wore) so i would disagree.
Daddy’s Gone by Glasvagas came on my ipod today and i remembered the time when some friends and i went to see another friends band play in the abc2 and Glasvagas’s lead singer and gutarist came in casually and watched them play just standing in the crowd. They were cool and looked like Stereophonics with their leather jackets and sunglasses. But i loved it how they were just there as part of the crowd and didnt make any big entrance compared to someone like Lady Gaga who arrives in a life sized egg. They stood next to us and just nodded their heads along to the music.. surreal but not at the same time.
We’re into July and its blue skies everywhere :)

Shirt- £8 vintage
Leotard- £12 Topshop
Skirt- £25 Topshop
Bag- £6 vintage
So yeh another old photo of an outfit but work is taking over my life atm- its funny how we complain about not being able to get a job and then when we do all we can do is complain. I wore this out on a night out with a few uni friends and loved how the colour of the shirt matches the colour of the leotards pattern. Wore it with a pair of black heeled boots from Pure which isnt something im proud of but still a student is a student.
Watching Devil Wears Prada on a Friday night (7.30 start tomorrow morning) and Hathaways job is dreamy. I keep switching between that and the Kennedys which is also really good (dont take much notice of the politics more of Jackies outfits) Jackie Kennedy supposingly stayed in her blood covered Chanel suit until late on the day and travelled in it which pritty much showed the kind of woman who wore it in those days- strong and independant. And now Arctic Monkeys at T are playing and currently picturing my friends dancing around like moroons (esp Jack who bums them- literally or he wishes he did.)
